Job Summary

The Corporate Services and Facilities (CSF) Department of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) has an opening for a Senior Facilities Officer who will coordinate management and oversight responsibilities of various facilities-related projects and initiatives at the IMF. The selected candidate must be able to proactively ensure that quality and regulatory standards are maintained during the planning and execution of projects and operational work activities to ensure the reliability and business continuity of a broad range of equipment, services, and facility systems. The selected candidate is also expected to coordinate with staff, contractuals, and vendor employees to ensure adherence with IMF Building Standards.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manages the Facilities Division’s compliance program and vendor key performance Indicators (KPI’s), ensuring adherence to applicable standards, contractual agreements, and reporting requirements
  • Manages facilities inspection and audit programs to ensure reliability of building systems, effective service delivery, and timely and accurate vendor reporting

  • Manages and coordinates facility asset lifecycle replacement, planning and updates, relative to the Facilities Condition Index (FCI), providing inputs to the Division’s short and long-term capital budget development
  • Coordinates the implementation and monitoring of compliance requirements for safe, quality, timely, and cost-effective projects delivery
  • Directs multiple design, construction, and renovation projects to ensure that schedules, budgets, and commitments are delivered on, and recommendations and decisions are based on sound data analysis
  • Reviews existing procedures to identify and recommend opportunities to improve facilities services and client experience

Minimum Qualifications

Educational development, typically acquired by the completion of a relevant advanced university degree, supplemented by a minimum of four years of professional experience in Real Estate, Facilities, Hospitality or Design and Construction field, or equivalent; or a bachelor’s degree, supplemented by a minimum of ten years of relevant professional experience in Real Estate, Facilities, Hospitality or Design and Construction field, is required.
