Purpose of Job

The Principal Talent Acquisition Delivery (TAD) is a pivotal role to the EBRD, leading a team of Associates in identifying top talent and delivering talent acquisition services across the organisation at the junior to mid-level. The Principal, TAD works closely with two Principal, Talent Acquisition Partners (TAP) based in the Bank’s HQ, ensuring that the team in Serbia deliver a first class recruitment service to HQ and Regional Office based hiring managers & leaders. The Talent Acquisition Delivery team focuses on delivering end to end recruitment for roles across all disciplines.


This role leads a team that supports the business with identifying best in class talent for junior to mid-level NOTE roles at the Bank, ensuring the smooth delivery of tactical recruitment activities for designated roles. The incumbent ensures that their team is fully supported from the training, data and system access perspective in order to perform their roles efficiently, and that all recruitment in their team complies with the Bank’s procedures. This role requires proactive collaboration with other teams within HROD such as Reward, Mobility, Payroll and HR Business Partnering, for their expertise, and to ensure a joined up approach for the client and candidate experience. This role acts as the point of escalation for their team and the business as necessary.

Accountabilities & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for overseeing the execution of all recruitment activity for junior to mid-level NOTE roles across the Bank.
  • Responsible for the overall management, mentoring and training of the TA Delivery Team, ensuring that the team fully understands and follows the internal policies and procedures, recommending amendments/ improvements where necessary. Regular TA team performance reviews against set KPIs.
  • Responsible for the TA Delivery team working in close collaboration with People Operations team, Reward, HR Business Partnering, Talent and other relevant teams within the Bank.
  • Overall responsibility for the quality of data in the applicant tracking system (Success Factors).
  • Uses data and analytics, drawn from a number of sources, to inform and influence resourcing decisions and provide solutions that deliver improvements across time, cost and quality of hire, as well as contributing to the overall recruitment strategy.
  • Using talent data to support continuous improvement (CI) activity to ensure the team deliver the best client experience (CX).
  • Analyse the social media platform, job board and external supplier performance and make improvement recommendations to the Head of TA to support continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with TAPs ensuring that any feedback from the business gets filtered down the team and, if required, training/ coaching needs are addressed.
  • Support the team with recruitment activities at peak times when the team are at a full capacity, act as escalation point for issues as required.
  • In coordination with the Procurement Operations & Delivery Department, manage third party suppliers including recruitment agencies. Ensure preferred supplier lists are in place and regularly reviewed.
  • Collaborate closely within HROD to ensure the team deliver an exceptional service to internal stakeholders.
  • Keep up with external research/trends/thinking to make sure the team remains relevant.
  • Lead and implement various operational projects.
  • Evaluate the value of each recruitment campaign/strategy based upon its cost effectiveness and ability to attract and appoint high quality candidates.
  • Actively involved in continuous improvement activities across HROD, and specifically within the TA team; including identifying areas of policy improvement, flagging emerging risks and mitigants.
  • Record-keeping to underpin sound administration of selection processes: documenting and filing an accurate audit trail to clarify policy decisions and/or to document rationale for policy variations in the realms of Talent Acquisition events.
  • Ensuring adequate details are kept and filed correctly so that any future recollection of a decision is fully captured and easily retrievable

  • Ensure relevant Bank approval processes are adhered to as part of the selection process, e.g. for CLG roles, or when a recruitment activity results in an exception from standard policy.
  • Supports the Associate Director, Head of TA and The Director, Head of Talent and Performance Management with the design, planning and delivery of various recruitment related strategic initiatives and projects.
  • Remains abreast of wider HROD and Bank wide topics, using this knowledge as context for key interactions and activities, and to support strong connectivity within HROD and institutionally. Actively engages within HROD to understand upstream and downstream impacts of actions.

Knowledge, Skills, Experience & Qualifications

  • Degree in relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Extensive & demonstrable full lifecycle recruitment experience working for an international, complex and matrix organisation.
  • Previous experience managing and developing a high performing team of recruiters.
  • Experience delivering continuous process and ATS workflow improvements.
  • Previous experience with external provider selection and relationship management .
  • Ability to build strong relationships with diverse wider HR team and senior stakeholders.
  • Highly client focused and adaptable, proactive with strong organizational skills.
  • Previous in-house recruitment experience creating and managing proactive
  • sourcing approach by using LinkedIn Recruiter and other social recruitment means.
  • Digital acumen and the ability to analyse and interpret recruitment data.
  • Previous experience in owning and delivering simultaneous recruitment projects.
  • Previous experience analysing, interpreting and drawing conclusions and suggestions from recruitment data.
  • Fluency in English both written and oral. Second language advantageous
