Internship opportunities at the ITER Organization

Task Title: INTERN-CORP04-IT Project Systems Application Support/ DevOps Intern Domain: Corporate Domain Department: Not Applicable Division: Information Technology Division Section: Not applicable Duration (in months): 3 to 6 months Location: France, 13067 St Paul Lez Durance Cedex Description of tasks:

The purpose of the internship is to join our IT Project Systems group to participate and support in the evolution of strategic IT solutions, participate to various global projects to maintain and evolve our complex infrastructure deployed across all ITER partners.

Task 1: Support and improve strategic IT solutions for Manufacturing, Non-Conformities, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Computer Aided Design (CAD) at ITER; Task 2: Support as DevOps the operation, administration and support of CAD/PLM tools (CATIA/ENOVIA-V5/AVEVA/3DExperience/Smart Plant) used by ITER Organization-Central Team and Domestic Agencies (DAs) stakeholders 200+ servers worldwide with configuration management and automatic pipelines; Task 3: Participate to our continuous improvement to enhance our Documentation (Specification, tests cases using our Automation test tool, how to) and participle on improvement of reporting services proposed to user for all different tools mentioned in previous tasks.

The ITER Organization offers internship opportunities to undergraduate and postgraduate students with the objective of providing these students with the opportunity to gain practical experience in their field of study, whilst collaborating in an international, scientific and multicultural environment. Internship opportunities are limited to nationals from countries participating in the ITER Project (China, the European Union, India, Japan, Korea, Russian Federation, and the United States).

Please also note that interns are not considered staff members and shall, therefore, not have the status of “Staff” as per the ITER Agreement and the Headquarters Agreement (see more information on these constitutive agreements in Legal Resources). Neither the ITER Staff Regulations nor the privileges and immunities granted to ITER Organization staff are applicable to interns. The ITER Organization salary, pension scheme, and social insurance coverage do also not apply.
