Corporate Partnerships Manager, Wallingford, United Kingdom

CABI Wallingford

Wallingford – UK (will be required to work in the office a few days a week)

Job Summary

CABI’s Corporate Partnerships Manager will coordinate and be responsible for generating a fundraising pipeline from new corporate partners in alignment with donor needs and opportunities, with a specific focus of securing funding partnerships that support CABI’s BioProtection Portal. CABI’s BioProtection Portal is a free tool that links strongly to the food and agriculture industry’s growing interest in regenerative agriculture and food security, helping users to discover information about registered biocontrol and biopesticide products around the world. Available online and offline, the portal helps growers and agricultural advisors to identify, source and correctly apply biocontrol and biopesticide products against problematic pests in their crops.

Reporting to CABI’s Head of Trusts and Foundations this role will work closely with the Key Account Management (KAM) team and senior CABI International Development staff to increase engagement with and generate funding from new corporate partners worldwide. The role is key to ensuring the long-term sustainability of CABI’s BioProtection Portal as the tool moves from a donor-funded to a sustainable, self-funded model.

The appointed candidate will have prior experience in fundraising through developing successful partnerships in a charity/not-for-profit environment and/or business development in the private sector, and a proven track record in identifying and winning opportunities for new income.
